James R. Niles, age 78, of Rockwood, passed away Sunday, August 5, 2018. He is survived by sons: Jeff Niles (Carolyn) of Maryville and Eric Niles (Tina) of Rockwood; 4 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild; sister: Ruth Waldo of Rockwood; sisters-in-law: Lula Bell Robinson (Henry) of Midtown, Maxine Bacon of Rockwood, and Erica Niles of Anchorage, Alaska; and numerous nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends Wednesday, August 8, 2018 from 5 to 7 p.m. eastern at Evans Mortuary in Rockwood. Funeral services will follow at the funeral home. Graveside and interment service will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. eastern time/10 a.m. central in the Millstone Cemetery in Cumberland County.
