The Roane County attorney has been asked to explore legal action against the owner-operators of Youth Opportunity Center for Success and Independence, previously known as the Roane Academy and Omni Visions in the Roane County Industrial Park in Rockwood. A similar resolution, on the Roane County Commission’s agenda for Monday night’s meeting, asked the county attorney to look into possible legal action against the licensing of the facility and also seek reimbursement of monies for several times the County sheriff’s office and other agencies have responded to certain calls to the center. Possible actions, including closing the facility, fining the owner or operator, or revoking the license of the owner or operator will be discussed at Monday night’s County Commission meeting.
