ROAD CONDITIONS ON PLATEAU – TUESDAY, FEBRUARY 2, 2021

Road conditions on the plateau (as of 4:15 a.m. Tuesday, February 2, 2021) – Slick and light snow covered on numerous back roads. There are slick spots and snow covered patches on some main roads.

I-40 for the most part is o.k. but be aware of icy patches, especially going up or down the plateau between Monterey and Cookeville.

The best rule this morning is if you don’t have to travel early this morning, wait until later when the sun is projected to come out and with the high temperature expected to be in the mid to upper 30’s, road conditions will improve.

Stay safe out there this morning.
