WILLIAM BYRD KERLEY SR. age 73 of Spring City, TN passed away December 2, 2021. He was born November 20, 1948 in Pikeville, TN the son of Hollis E. and Melvina Stafford Kerley. He was retired from TVA and was a loving and kind Christian man who loved his family greatly.
He is survived by his wife- Molly Waldo Kerley of Spring City, TN, sons- William Byrd Kerley Jr. and his wife Carleena and Edward “Eddie” Kerley and his wife Jessica all of Spring City, TN, daughters- Pamela “Pam” Ann Graham and her husband Thomas and Mary Amanda Gornik and her husband Chris Sr. all of Spring City, TN, brother- Billy Kerley and his wife Hazel of Grandview, TN, sisters- Kathleen Fleenor and Susie Bell Clawson both of Crossville, TN, Mary Frances McGhee and her husband RC of Spring City, TN and Geneva Lucille Taylor and her husband Dwight of Madisonville, TN, grandchildren- Chasity, Jessica, Heather, Emily, Cameron, Taylor, Starlyn, Hunter and Rufus and great grandchildren- Liam, Arkin and Aiden.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother- Charlie Kerley and sister- Agnes Kerley.
Funeral services will be held Sunday December 5, 2021 at 2pm Central Standard Time at Hood Funeral Home. The family will receive friends on Saturday December 4, 2021 from 5pm-7pm Central Standard Time at Hood Funeral Home. Burial will be in Harris Cemetery.
