JAMES FRANK STIDHAM went to be with Jesus on Monday, October 24, 2022, at the age of 89. Life began on March 18, 1933, in Lake City, TN. His family later moved to Kentucky where his father, Elijah worked as a coal miner. Jim served his country as a Sergeant in the United States Army. After returning from Korea in 1955, he attended the Lawrence Institute of Technology in Southfield, MI. He married Luana Jean Lewis on June 25, 1955, a marriage that endured until his death 67 years later. He enjoyed a successful career in the field of metallurgy with one highlight event, when he contributed to the space program by heat-treating component pieces of equipment that the US Space Agency was sent to the moon.

In recent years prior to his illness, he served God via Trinity Tabernacle as a member of the Board of Directors and he also enjoyed teaching Sunday school to various ages of youth.

He is survived by his wife, Luana, daughters: Ranae Kay, and Tina Marie, and her husband Donnie Reed all of Crossville, TN. He also leaves his granddaughter- Carey Lynn and her husband Steven DeWitt and great-grandchildren; Julie Anna, Madelyn Grace, and Nathan James all of Frisco, TX, as well as a number of nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Nellie and Elijah Stidham, five children; Kimberly Sue, Sheryl Lynn, James Kevin, Gregory Lee, and James Alan, sister; Betty Bowling and brothers; Thomas and Marion Stidham.

Jim met Jesus as a young boy and continued to love and have faith throughout his life. A life well lived, Praise God!!!

A Celebration of Life service will be held Saturday, November 26, 2022, at 2 pm at Trinity Tabernacle Church. The family will receive friends from 1 pm-2 pm prior to the service at the church.
