On December 3, Cumberland County officers responded to Vandever Road for a stolen vehicle. The owner of the vehicle stated that his 2006 Scion xB was stolen sometime during the night. He alleged he last saw the vehicle around 7 PM the night before. When the man woke up around 4 AM, he went outside and it was gone. He stated he leaves the keys in the vehicle like he usually does. He said he has no idea who would have taken the vehicle and he did not give anyone permission to drive it.
A couple of hours later, the vehicle was found wrecked down the road.
