NEW YEAR’S OBSERVED MONDAY BY MANY BUSINESSES AND WILL BE CLOSED

///
Comments are Off

The 2023 New Year’s Day fell on a Sunday this year, and because of that, many businesses and government offices observe Monday, Jan. 2 as the official holiday.

Across the country, most banks, county governments, and the federal government will be closed today.

Courts will likely be closed, too. Check with your local branch before visiting.

Post offices are closed today, which means mail and packages won’t be delivered by the United States Postal Service.

Packages from other delivery services could also be impacted. Fed Ex will be open on Jan. 2. Meanwhile, some limited UPS Store locations are open.
