If you knew her, you were blessed. A quiet sweet gentle soul has been called home. Eva was born July 31, 1931, to John Claude and Amanda (Boston) Lewis in Crossville and the widow of Robert Scott. She resided at Life Care Center for the past eight years where she was cherished and loved by both staff and residents, especially Connie. Her beautiful colored pages brightened everyone’s day as they passed her room. She had worked at Roselyn and Homestead Manufacturing for many years, retiring when she was needed to care for her Mom at home. Cooking and sewing were her two passions, the results of which were shared with many folks. Her amazing meals filled our bellies while her quilts warmed our beds. Special times spent with her and Uncle Bob will live on in the memories of the many nieces and nephews she leaves behind, especially her girls JaneAnn and Kaye. Graveside services provided by Bilbrey Funeral Home Saturday, February 25 at 1 pm at City Cemetery.
