Cumberland County’s current VSO Officer, Garry Blaisdell, is retiring. After an extensive interview process with several outstanding candidates, the unanimous choice to replace Garry was James R. Dignan. The resolution to appoint was approved unanimously at the Cumberland County Commission meeting Tuesday.
VSOs are trained and accredited by the VA or other recognized organizations to provide assistance to veterans, their dependents, and survivors.
