Mr. Neil Baker was born on February 23, 1927, to Grace (Jones) Baker and “Lem” James Baker. He died peacefully at his home in Burkesville, Ky. on his 96th birthday, February 23, 2023. Neil was an only child and was deeply loved by his parents and family. As a child, he attended Salem School. He became a successful farmer and could repair most farm equipment. Mr. Neil was an active and long-time member of the local Burkesville First United Methodist Church.
He was preceded in death by his wife 2019, Patty Allen-Baker. Neil is survived also by 2 nieces, a nephew, and many dear friends and cousins.
The Celebration of Life Service will be Sunday, February 26, 2023, at 1:30 p.m. in the Memory Chapel of Norris-New Funeral Home. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Sunday, February 26, 2023, from 12:00 noon to 1:30 p.m. Burial will be in the Burkesville Cemetery.
