Crossville, TN- On March 16, Cumberland County deputies were dispatched to Vandever Road for a hit-and-run vehicle accident. The 19-year-old victim stated she was on her way to school around 7:40 AM and came around a curve when a silver Chevrolet pickup truck was stopped in the road. When the victim began to stop, the truck then “backed up really fast” hitting the front end of her vehicle. The driver of the truck sped off. She was unable to get registration for the pickup truck at this time. Her vehicle did have minor damage.

There were no injuries reported.
