Clinton, TN- On May 25, at about 12:29 pm Clinton Police were dispatched to 800 Fowler Street on a report of a person shot.
Officers found 19-year-old Payton I. Bridges had been shot and pronounced dead on the scene. CPD detectives with the assistance of TBI collected evidence at the scene, served search warrants, and interviewed witnesses. At about 9:00 pm a juvenile was taken into custody and charged with Homicide, Aggravated Assault, Reckless Endangerment, and Unlawful possession of a Weapon. Both the suspects and victim are from the Clinton area and are acquaintances.
