Vickie Lynn Williams- Age 52, a beloved mother, wife, sister, and friend passed away unexpectedly at home on September 1, 2023. Born in Crossville, Tennessee, she relocated to Cookeville, Tennessee in the 1990s. She worked in the home health industry as a caregiver for many years. Her kind heart and love for others served well during her time as a caregiver.

Vickie was known for her loving spirit and kind smile. She made everyone feel welcome and quickly made friends with anyone she talked to. One of Vickie’s biggest joys in life was when the family joined together for special events such as birthdays, weddings, and holidays. Her family was the light of her life and primary interest. She will be missed dearly.

Vickie’s son would like to extend a special thank you to those who lent a helping hand and supported her throughout the years. Her kind spirit will always be remembered by those who loved her.

She was born on October 4, 1970, in Cumberland County, Tennessee to David L. Shillings and Linda K. Shillings. In addition to her father, David L. Shillings, she was preceded in death by grandparents, Garfield & Alta Hedgecoth, Harrison & Ethel Shillings; dear friend, Mary H. Burgess; and 6 uncles and aunts. She is survived by her husband, Sam B. Williams; son, Bradley C. Masters; mother, Linda K. Shillings; her brothers, Rex & Monty Shillings; and many cousins, nephews, and nieces.

A graveside service will be held at Hedgecoth Cemetery, 2594 Highland Ln. Crossville, Tennessee on September 10, 2023, at 3:00 PM.
