Company officials say plans have stopped for a new Buc-ee location in Clarksville because of possible traffic issues.
The site for the location was at Exit 1 off Interstate 24 near the Kentucky state line.
The company withdrew plans because it could not agree to terms with the Tennessee Department of Transportation. Officials say work needed to be done on Exit 1 to accommodate the new location for Buc-ee’s.
The list of Buc-ee’s current and future Tennessee locations is below:
Buc-ee’s currently has locations operational in Tennessee or to be opened soon. Those locations include:
Crossville – I-40 Exit 320 Genesis Road exit
Sevierville – I-40 Exit 407
Murfreesboro – I-24 Exit 84 (expected late 2024 opening)
