Crossville police and medics responded to a vehicle accident Saturday on Northside Drive.
Officers arrived to see a wrecked pickup truck with the driver, 61-year-old Charles Burr Bridgham 4th, beside the vehicle.
While speaking with the driver, officers allegedly observed Bridgham to have slurred speech and red watery eyes.
A field sobriety test was administered to Bridgham.
He reportedly failed the test.
He was arrested for driving under the influence.
