State and federal authorities raided a Oneida doctor’s office today. Tennessee Highway Patrol troopers and TBI agents were at Coffey Family Medical Clinic on Underpass Drive in Oneida. The highway patrol was assisting the federal Drug Enforcement Administration. Coffey Family Medical Center is the office of Dr. David Coffey. Records show Coffey, who was licensed as a medical doctor in 1976, had his license reprimanded in 2017 by the Tennessee Board of Medical Examiners. He was disciplined for “unprofessional, dishonorable or unethical conduct,” and was ordered to pay five $100 penalties.
