The body of a missing man believed to have drowned in Douglas Lake last Wednesday was found yesterday. Hector Guillermo Mercado Perez, 24, from Norton, Virginia, went swimming from a pontoon near Point 12 in the area of Mallard Way and Ponderosa Drive. Witnesses said he swam several feet away from the boat and started to struggle. His body was recovered last night by a diver with the Jefferson County Rescue Squad.
