POLICE ARREST MARYVILLE MAN FOR THREATENING PEOPLE… WITH A SNAKE
Police reportedly arrested a Maryville man recently for public intoxication and threatening. The incident occurred at Maryville Billiards on East Broadway Avenue in Maryville. Witnesses told officers 22-year-old Kennon Trey Fitzgerald, who seemed to be intoxicated, had been threatening people with a live snake. Fitzgerald reportedly left the establishment on foot before police arrived and headed down Sevierville Road.
Officers were then summoned to a home on Kittrell Avenue, in response to a domestic disturbance. There they found Fitzgerald, who was arguing with his mother. They said he appeared intoxicated, and there was a snake on the porch.
Fitzgerald was booked into the Blount County jail and released on a $1,000 bond. He was due to appear in court this morning.
