I expect showers and thunderstorms to pick up on Wednesday with a high temperature in the low 80s. The showers were pretty sparse during the day on Tuesday but Wednesday a few heavy thunderstorms will be possible with downpours and cloud-to-ground lightning. Thursday through the weekend it looks like it will start getting hotter and the rain chances will go back down to about 30% with afternoon temperatures well into the 80s. A few severe thunderstorms are possible in Tennessee and Kentucky on Wednesday and I will keep you updated on 105.7 FM and 98.9 for our listeners in Northern Tennessee and Southern Kentucky.
