52 YEAR OLD MAN DROWNS IN CUMBERLAND RIVER
Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency said the body of a 52-year-old man was found after a drowning incident over the weekend.
TWRA said the man from Hendersonville fell overboard from a 33-foot boat when it was approaching a fuel dock at Rock Harbor Marina at about 4 p.m. Sunday.
Metro Fire, Metro Police, OEM and TWRA responded and began a search of the area. Divers located the body of the Hendersonville man in about 30 feet of water Sunday evening. TWRA says he was not wearing a life jacket.
TWRA said this is the 17th boating-related death on Tennessee waters in 2021.
