James Franklin Ball Sr., age 98, of Kingston passed away Monday, July 22, 2019. He is survived by his sons: James F. Ball Jr. and Dennis E. Ball and wife Mary; sister: Phyllis Williams and husband Virgil of Wheelersburg, Ohio; grandchildren: Jeff Ball and wife Michelle, Jennifer Walden and husband Buddy, and Greg Ball and wife Shanna; 7 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild; and special friends: Pat Graham and Ronnie Vandecoevering of Knoxville and Jim Garrett and Lois of Kingston. Funeral services will be held at 8 p.m. Friday, July 26, 2019 in the Kyker Chapel in Kingston. Burial will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Kingston Memorial Gardens with military honors by the Roane County Military Memorial Honor Guard. The family will receive friends 6 until 8 p.m. Friday, July 26, at the Kyker Funeral Home in Kingston.
