A planned power outage will take place late tomorrow night (August 20, 2019) in Athens, Tennessee. Beginning at 11 p.m. eastern, crews of the Athens Utilities Board will be relocating a large concrete power pole. Locations affected include a small section along the west side of Congress Parkway, from Redfern Drive South to around Carter Road, Lee Manor Apartments, a small portion of Kenneth Street, and Mt. Verd Road. The work is expected to take two or three hours.
