Pastor David Evangelista, age 92, of Fairfield Glade, passed away November 10, 2020 at his home. He has worked as a Senior Pastor for 61 years, 20 of which was in Fairfield Glade. His last sermon was preached at Faith Bible Fellowship of FFG, March 15, 2020. He has had seven churches in his lifetime, but has repeatedly said, from his pulpit that Faith Bible Fellowship of FFG was his favorite church—a wonderful tribute to the congregation to whom he served. He is survived by his wife: Linda Evangelista; daughters: Carol Clanton (Larry), Virginia (Ginny) Hoffman (Terry), Ruth Dunkle (Jeff), Joyce Logan (Bill), Faith Moncivaiz (Ben) and Esther Flores (Victor); 19 grandchildren; 41 great-grandchildren; and 2 great-great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Friday, November 13, 2020 at 1 p.m. at Hood Funeral Home in Crossville. The family will receive friends Friday from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will be in Crossville City Cemetery.
