A multi-vehicle accident yesterday afternoon on I-75 at the 68 southbound mile marker in Loudon County left a driver hurt and locked up traffic at the scene for a couple of hours. Trooper James Capps states in his report a 2020 Volvo tractor-trailer operated by 47-year-old Mark Smith of Cedar Bluff, Virginia, a 2019 Honda Accord driven by 31-year-old Ricky Watson of Atlanta, Georgia, a 2017 Ford F-150 operated by 57-year-old Michael Lejune of San Diego, California, and a 2014 Chevy Spark driven by 25-year-old Kacy Pell of Chattanooga were all heading south when a chain reaction crash took place involving the four drivers. The only injury noted was to Watson who was treated by medics.
