Kathi Carole Gibson, age 56, of Crossville, passed away February 4, 2021. She was born May 11, 1964 in Crossville, the daughter of John Coley and Shirley Tollett Kerley. She was a kind and loving wife, mother, sister and grammy. She was a beautiful lady inside and out and will be remembered for her thoughtfulness and unselfishness towards others. Her family was the most important part of her life, especially her grandbabies, and she will be greatly missed by all who were blessed to have known and loved her. She was a member of the Church of Christ and also had a tremendous love for the Lord. She is survived by her husband: Ralph Gibson; children: Jonathan Gibson (Jennifer) and Jennifer Lawrence (Aaron), both of Crossville; brothers: Jeff Kerley (Susan) of Nashville and David Kerley (Erin Beth) of Crossville; sister: Vicki Fish (Randy) of Crossville; grandchildren: Gavon Lawrence, Gradon Lawrence, Gannon Lawrence, Emilyn Gibson and Ryker Gibson; and many special nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her father and mother-in-law; Harold and Wilda Gibson; and special friend: Samantha Music. Funeral services will be held Monday February 8, 2021 at 1 p.m. at Hood Funeral Home in Crossville. The family will receive friends Monday from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. prior to the service. A private family graveside will be held at Linary Cemetery.
