Graveside services for Nellie J. Walker, age 78, of Crossville, will be conducted Tuesday, March 2, 2021 at 11 a.m. central at Mayland Cemetery. She was born September 14, 1942 in Crossville to the late Dan And Laura Goff Kilgore. She worked At Camp Nakanawa for many years and as a dietary aide with Country Place Nursing Home. She was Baptist in faith. She is survived by her daughters: Tammy Sweitzer (Al) Of Crossville and Crystal Perdue (Clint) Of Creswell, OR; son: Jimmy Lee Walker And Tina Cordell Of Crossville; grandchildren: Dustin Walker, Sam Walker, James Cook, Grace Perdue, and Hannah Perdue; 9 great-grandchildren; and brother: Jim Kilgore of Elyria, Ohio. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband: Lee Elton Walker; sisters: Bethel Copeland, Bessie Phillips, Dorothy Buckner, Ethel Bohannon, Mary Phillips, Anna Ruth Beard, and Daniette Bennett; and brothers: Arthur Kilgore, Paul Kilgore, Sam Kilgore, David Kilgore, and James Kilgore. The family will receive friends at Mayland Cemetery the day of and prior to the service.
