Justin Birl Kerley, age 29, of Crossville, passed away March 4, 2021. He was born October 10, 1991 in Crossville, the son of Christina Kerley. He worked as a head chef in several area restaurants and was a member of the Baptist faith.

He is survived by his daughter: Alexandrea Kerley; mother and father: Christina Kerley and Allan Gomez of Sparta; brother: Alex Kerley of Crossville; sister: Estrella Gomez of Crossville; great-grandmother: Christine Jones; and many uncles, aunts and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his son: Landon Kerley; grandmother: Susan Rittenberry; and uncles: Billy Birl Jones and Oscar “Ray” Jones.

A Celebration of Life service will be held Friday March 12, 2021 at 4 p.m. central at Hood Funeral Home in Crossville. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 2 until 4 p.m. central at the funeral home.

The family respectfully asked that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to a college fund set up for his daughter Alexandrea.
