Wayne County, Kentucky deputies and medics responded to a single vehicle crash on Highway 3106 yesterday. A 1997 Mazda pickup truck operated by 26-year-old John Guffey of Monticello lost control, left the road and struck two trees. Guffey was flown to the University of Kentucky Hospital for treatment of injuries. The vehicle sustained heavy damage and is a total loss.
