THUNDERSTORMS THURSDAY

Thunderstorms were scattered all around middle and East Tennessee today with some briefly heavy storms even here in Cumberland County. Trees were blown down and flooding in Knox County and showers and thunderstorms are likely again on Thursday and some of those will be pretty heavy. We may have a hurricane in the Gulf of Mexico by The Weekend and it could eventually bring us some rainfall but it’s too early to tell for sure. The national high today was 116 at Death Valley California and can you believe there was frost and freeze in the Montana mountains this morning as it dropped to 22 degrees.
