It is going to be partly cloudy through Friday with a 40% chance of afternoon and evening thunder showers and that will go up to 50% by Friday night and Saturday. High temperatures will be in the upper 70s to low 80s and dropping into the 60s at night. There was a lot of rain around East Tennessee and the Cumberland Plateau on Wednesday but nothing measurable in downtown Crossville. There were heavy showers in parts of Cumberland County. It looks like we could see some nights in the upper 40s near the end of the month and I will keep you posted on that. There was frost and freeze this morning in Yellowstone Wyoming as it dropped to 23 degrees. The National High was 111 in Death Valley California
