LT. GOV. MCNALLY AND STATE SEN. YAGER MEET WITH OAK RIDGE FIREFIGHTERS ASSOCIATION

(NASHVILLE)- Lieutenant Governor Randy McNally (R- Oak Ridge) and State Senator Ken Yager (R-Kingston) met with the Oak Ridge Firefighters Association (ORFFA) President Austin Heatherly and Vice President Wade Slack on Wednesday, February 22, 2023.
The Firefighters Association leadership met with the lawmakers to express their support for the James ‘Dustin’ Samples Act, which passed the Senate Commerce and Labor Committee on Tuesday, February 21. The bill would increase support services to firefighters suffering from
post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD).
The lawmakers praised the firefighters for their important work to save lives and maintain public safety in their communities.
