Caryn McCready was born on February 27, 1951, in Philadelphia, PA to parents Michael and Elizabeth (DeLong) McCready.  She resided in Historic Bristol Borough, PA, until moving to Nashville, TN in 2018 to live with her sister and brother-in-law, Cheryl and Tom McIntyre. They recently moved to Crossville, TN.

Caryn died peacefully on August 19, 2023, with her family by her side at the Cumberland House. She worked as a secretary in the Bucks County court system before becoming a teacher’s aide at Bristol High School. She loved working with children and spent many summers as a counselor for Bristol’s summer recreation program. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, Marcie & Lois, at the beach (down the shore) in Long Beach Island, NJ. Caryn enjoyed jigsaw puzzles, playing games with her nieces and nephews, and happy hour with friends. 

Caryn is survived by her sister Cheryl McIntyre (Thomas McIntyre) of Crossville, TN, her brother Michael McCready of Bristol, PA and five nieces and nephews, Tracy, Shannon, Tommy, Michael, & Jenna, as well as several great nieces and nephews.
