Two drivers escaped injury in a multi-vehicle accident yesterday in Overton County.

The crash report from the Tennessee Highway Patrol indicates a 2004 Chevrolet Silverado driven by 29-year-old Markel D. Koehn was traveling on Wilder Highway when he failed to maintain his lane of travel. He collided with an oncoming 2003 Peterbilt tractor-trailer operated by 80-year-old Clayton Beaty.

Troopers say both vehicles came to rest on the highway after impact.

Authorities added both drivers were wearing seat belts.
