BOND SET FOR SEQUATCHIE COUNTY MAN CHARGED WITH SHOOTING HIS WIFE

A Sequatchie County man who allegedly fatally shot his wife had his bond set at a preliminary court hearing.
Keith Kopecky’s bond was set at $250,000. The judge set requirements such as Kopecky must surrender any firearms and ammunition he has in his possession. He must wear a GPS device.
Kopecky called 911 on October 3, 2023, and told dispatchers he shot his wife Marcey at a home on Windridge Drive. She passed away from injuries sustained in the shooting.
