Johnnie Kay Stokes, age 70, of Crossville, passed away at Ft. Sanders Regional Hospital on Thursday, October 26, 2023. Johnnie was born on June 29, 1953, in Crossville, the daughter of Robert and Effie Stokes.

She is survived by her sisters: Danita Ferguson, Joyce Mensch, and Brenda Webb; and brothers: Gregory Stokes and Tommy Kemmer.

In addition to her parents, Johnnie was preceded in death by her sisters: Katherine Kemmer, Maxine Kemper, and Jean York; and brothers: Cotton Stokes, Ronnie Stokes, Tony Kemmer, and Bobby Stokes.

A memorial service will be held Tuesday, October 31, 2023, at 10 a.m. at Bilbrey Funeral Home in Crossville. Burial will be in Green Acres Cemetery at a later date.
