Edna Faye (Bunch) Melton, age 74, of Crossville, passed away Friday, November 24, 2023, at Cumberland Medical Center.

She was born August 1, 1949, at home on Fort Mountain in Anderson County to Charlie Bunch and Truie (King) Bunch.

Edna Faye is survived by her husband of 54 years: James Bruce Melton; daughters: Deletta Melton (Michael Cox) and Wendy Tuttle (Darrell); sister: Charlene (Bunch) Seiber (Earl Phillips); brother: Edward Bunch (Rose); sisters-in-law: Linda Gayle (Melton) Ward (Larry Doubey), Becky Melton, and Janice (Melton) Neal (Gary); grandchildren: Shannon Gossett, Laura (Melton) Yates, and Charlie Tuttle; and great-grandchildren: Aubree Blackmon, Rowan Blackmon, and Maverick Yates.

She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and other family members and friends.

Edna Faye was preceded in death by her parents: Charlie Bunch; mother: Truie (King) Bunch; sisters: Christine, Pearl, Sally, Helen, and Darlene; brothers: Sydney, Chester, Claude, Mack, Michael, Gordon, Carl, Larry, Buster, and Clyde; brothers-in-law: Gregory Melton, Brian Melton, and Jeffrey Melton; and sisters-in-law: Donna Melton, Joy Melton and Stacey Melton

Edna Faye was laid to rest on November 28, 2023, at Orchard View Cemetery located at Orchard View Baptist Church in Oliver Springs.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.

Edna Faye dedicated her entire life to her family.  Edna Faye was a wonderful daughter, sister, wife, mother, aunt, grandmother, and great-grandmother.

She was also a cherished friend by many. She will be missed terribly by so many that loved her but she will never be forgotten.
