Knoxville Police Department Property Crimes Unit detectives continue to investigate the theft of the pictured statue stolen from Thomas “Tank” Strickland Park.
The beloved statue was reported stolen on August 5, 2024. It is unknown when exactly the statue was stolen.
Anyone with information concerning the statue’s whereabouts or who might be responsible for the theft is urged to contact East Tennessee Valley Crime Stoppers at 865-215-7165. Tipsters can remain anonymous and be eligible to receive a cash reward.
