Graveside Funeral Services for Mary Magdalene Bohannon, age 81, of Cookeville, Tennessee, will be conducted on Wednesday, August 28, 2024, at 12:00 PM at the James Bohannon Cemetery. Bro. Roy Graves will officiate with interment to follow. Ms. Bohannon was born on Saturday, August 7, 1943, in Cookeville, Tennessee, to the late Hershel and Pearl Lee Bohannon. Ms. Bohannon passed away on Saturday, August 24, 2024, at Bethesda Health Care Center. Ms. Bohannon was a case worker working with the Social Security Administration in Nashville, Tennessee, until her retirement. She was a member of Mill Creek Baptist Church. She is survived by her brother, Billie Bohannon of Smithville, TN; sister-in-law, Paricia Bohannon of Cookeville, TN; nephews, Dean Bohannon, Jason Bohannon, Jamie Vickers, and Gary Vickers; niece, Kim Simmons; and numerous great nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Ernie Bohannon; sister and brother-in-law, Geneva and Verble Vickers Jr.; infant brothers, Bobby Carl, Paul Dewain, and Hubert R Bohannon; and nephew, Gaylon Lee Vickers.
