Hunter Boyd Smith, 25, passed away on August 24, 2024. He was a beloved son, brother, uncle, nephew, cousin, and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Hunter was born on January 1, 1999, in Crossville, Tennessee. He graduated from Stone Memorial High School in 2017 at the top of his class. He obtained his Bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Engineering with Honors at Tennessee Tech University. He was employed as a Boilermaker at TVA. He was known for his hard work and dedication.

Hunter loved spending time with his family and friends. He enjoyed amplifying his truck, hunting, fishing, 4-wheeling, sharing stories, and playing games.

Hunter is survived by his mother and father, Donna and Delbert Smith of Grandview; brother Tom Smith of Grandview; sister- Angela Smith of Englewood, FL; 2 nieces, 1 nephew, several aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. He is predeceased by his grandparents. His memory will be cherished by all who knew him.

A visitation will be held Thursday, August 29, 2024, from 5 pm-8 pm EST (4 pm-7 pm CST) at Hood Funeral Home in Crossville. A graveside service will be held Friday, August 30, 2024, at 1 pm EST at Spring City Cemetery.
