MARGOT EDITH PHIPPS age 78 of Clarkrange, TN, passed away September 1, 2024. She was born March 15, 1946 in Gottingen, Germany the daughter of Helmut and Wilhelmine Thicke Aschoff. She was a homemaker and a member of Solid Rock Baptist Church in Clarkrange, TN.

She is survived by her daughters- Nancy Phipps and Andrea Phipps both of Crossville, TN, brother- Detlef Aschoff and his wife Ingrid of Germany, grandchildren- Jessica Garvin, Johnathan Pearce, Justin Pearce and Megan Penticuff and great grandchildren- Katelyn Hope, Kristin Shelton, Paisley Hughes, Pilar Penticuff and Kaylee Pearce.

IN addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband- Billy Phipps and brothers- Herbert Aschoff, Helmut Aschoff and Hebbett Aschoff.

Funeral services will be held Friday September 6, 2024 at 12:00noon at Hood Funeral Home. The family will receive friends on Friday from 11:00am-12:00noon one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will be in Woody Cemetery.
