Arthur Harrison Nicholson, age 92, of Sweetwater, passed away on Friday, October 4, 2024 at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was a well-known dairy farmer and a member of the Lakeside Missionary Baptist Church in Vonore. Preceded in death by his parents: William and Annie Nicholson, and several brothers and sisters.

He is survived by his wife of 72 years of marriage: Lillie “Tootsie” Hicks Nicholson, sons and daughters-in-law: Daniel and Marcia K. Nicholson, Steve and Brenda Nicholson, grandchildren: Dusty and wife DeAnna Nicholson, Matthew and wife Jennie Nicholson, Katie and husband Michael McPherson, great-grandchildren: Dixie Nicholson, Carson McPherson, and 4 sisters.

The family will receive friends on Monday October 7, 2024 at the Sweetwater Memory Chapel from 5:00P.M. until 7:00P.M. with the funeral service to follow at 7:00P.M. in the Memory Chapel with Dr. Gerald Atkins and Rev. Carl Croft officiating. Family and friends will meet at Lakeside Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery on Tuesday at 11:00A.M. for the interment.
