JOHN W. REED age 74 of Grandview, TN passed away October 8, 2024. He was born March 15, 1950 in Grandview, TN the son of Clifford T. and Masel Godsey Reed. He worked many years as a stone mason and was of the Church of God faith.

He is survived by his son-Sam Reed of Grandview, TN , daughter- Jessica Gunther and her husband Brandon of Spring City, TN, sisters- Jane Fugate and her husband Leonard of Evensville, TN, Jewell Beasley and her husband Wayne of Spring City, TN, Stella Harrison and her husband Ray of Spring City, TN, Kathy Cawood of Spring City, TN, Mary Jackson and her husband Rick of Spring City, TN and Bonnie Fisher and her husband Billy of Jonesboro, TX, brother- Allen Reed and his wife Kay of Hamilton, TX, grandchildren- Samuel Reed and Hannah Reed, Hadley Gunther, Rylee Gunther and great grandson- Ledger Reed.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers-Avery Reed and Benton Reed and his beloved dog Bandit.

Graveside services will be held Friday October 11, 2024 at 12:00noon EST, 11:00am CST at Reed Cemetery.
