NASVILLE SINGER LARYSA ANN JACKSON KILLED IN I-24 CRASH

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) – A Nashville singer-songwriter died in a crash on Interstate 24 in Montgomery County over the weekend, according to a report from the Tennessee Highway Patrol.

Larysa Ann Jackson, 40, was traveling west on I-24 in a 2003 Honda Accord in the right lane at about 3:24 a.m. on Dec. 8.

The report states that the Honda left the roadway at the left shoulder and traveled down an embankment to the roadway below. As it struck Dixie Bee Road, the Honda overturned and came to a rest on its roof.

Jackson died as a result of the crash, according to the report. According to her website, the mother of four was the only Black woman with an artist residency on Nashville’s Lower Broadway, at Justin Timberlake’s Twelve Thirty Club.
