Marvin  “Jack” Jenkins was born in Crossville Tennessee on February 26, 1943 and passed away at home surrounded by family on December 19, 2024. He was 81 years old. He is  survived by his wife of 61 years Phyllis Jenkins, his two sons  Marvin (Teresa)  Jenkins, and Mitchell (Becky) Jenkins. He is also survived by four grandchildren, Chris Jenkins, Bethany, Jenkins, Emily, Jenkins, and Ashley Griffith and three great grandchildren, McKinlee, Carter and Eliza.  He was preceded in death by his four brothers, Vern, Gene, Troy, and Ralph, and two sisters June and Joy. He was the last surviving sibling.   Jack was a hard worker and would help you in any way that he could. He loved being around his family and was loved by everyone. He loved being outside working and you could not keep him still. He enjoyed fishing, carpentry and gardening. He loved being on his tractor whether it was plowing the garden or pulling logs from the woods to split for firewood.  He spent over 20 years at TurnerDay and  Woolworth and finished his working career at Franklin Limestone.  No services are planned at this time.
