Judith “Judy” Mae Hipsky, 81

In Loving Memory Judith “Judy” Mae Hipsky, age 81, passed away peacefully in her sleep on Friday, January 24, 2025, at her home in Kingston, Tennessee. She was born on May 30, 1943, in Detroit Michigan to Anna and Martin Gyuran, she was one of seven children. She graduated from Warren high school in 1961 where she met her husband. Judy attended cosmetology school and worked in a salon until moving to Florida where she retired from the Brevard County School Board where she worked as a Baker.
Judy is survived by her husband of 63 years, Richard Hipsky, and their four children: Gary Hipsky (daughter-in-law Tammi Hipsky), Scott Hipsky, Bryan Hipsky, and Karie Hanselman (son-in-law Brett Hanselman). She is also survived by her grandchildren: Justine Hipsky, Brandon Hipsky, Zachary Hipsky, Amber Hanselman, and Dean Hanselman. Her only surviving sibling is her brother, James Gyuran.
Through the years, Judy loved to work on their houses; collecting antiques and decorating, planting flowers and spending time in the yard, making a wide variety of crafts, making stained glass, working on wood projects, she enjoyed baking, traveling to listen to bluegrass music, and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. In her younger years she also enjoyed boating, dancing on the weekends, and watching Nascar.
The family will receive from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 25, 2025, at Kyker Funeral Home of Kingston. Memorial Service at 1:00 p.m. Burial will follow at 3:00 p.m. in Loudon County Memorial Gardens 6505 US 11 Lenoir City, TN 37771. Kyker Funeral Home of Kingston is serving the Hipsky Family.
