Sam Jay Lane, age 81, of Crossville, TN, passed away on March 14, 2025, at Cumberland Medical Center.

Mr. Lane was born on September 17, 1943, in New York, NY, son of the late Harold Lane and Jean (Posner) Lane.

Sam served our country in the United States Army.

He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Patty; children, Heather, Darcy, Ilissa; grandchildren, Matthew, Zachary, Elizabeth, Felycia, Robert, and Jessica; 6 great grandchildren; sister, Margie; and brother, Paul.

In addition to his parents, Sam is preceded in death by his sister, Marianne.
