Mr. Roy E. Headrick, age 77, a resident of Crossville, Tennessee, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, April 21, 2025, surrounded by his family at his home. He was born April 18, 1948, in the Pine Orchard Community of Morgan County, Tennessee. He was a member of the Cornerstone Baptist Church in Crossville and was a retired Demolition Consultant with Highways Inc. out of Brentwood, Tennessee with over 50 years of service. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, working, and a good cup of coffee. He also loved going to church and working in many of the outreaches and ministries there. Most of all, he dearly loved his family and was very proud of them. He was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence & Louise Headrick; sisters, Ruth Headrick, and Connie Headrick; and brothers, Raymond “Cotton” Headrick, and Bobby Joe Headrick.

Daughter & Son-in-law: Sherry Treadway (Billy)

Son: Roy Lynn “Peanut” Headrick

Grandchildren: Amber Headrick, Shelby Headrick, Nathan Treadway (Sierra), and Amanda Treadway

Great Grandchildren: Emma Wells, Zayla Treadway, Isabella Lopez, Jasmine Headrick, Lilly Lou Headrick, expected twin great granddaughters, Addisyn Treadway and Emersyn Treadway, and expected great granddaughter Kimberly Diego Jose

Brothers and Sisters: Wanda Eddington (Austin), Donnie Headrick (Mary), Ralph Headrick (Sue), James Headrick (Sue), Johnny Headrick (Linda), and Barbara Williams (James)

Sister in law: Sonja Headrick

Mother of his children and Special Friends: Anna & Gary Mohring

Special Friends: Kevin, Michael, Shirley, and Daryl

And a host of nieces and nephews, cousins, other relatives, and many cherished friends.

The family will receive friends Friday, April 25, 2025, from 12:00 noon (E.D.T.) until 2:00 p.m. (E.D.T.) at the Evans Mortuary. Funeral services will follow on Friday, April 25, 2025, at 200 p.m. (E.D.T.) from the Chapel of Evans Mortuary with Pastor Mike Kerley officiating. Committal services and interment will follow in the Haley’s Grove Cemetery in Crab Orchard, Tennessee. Evans Mortuary of Rockwood, Tennessee is serving the family of Mr. Roy E. Headrick.
