Paulette Bumgardner, age 76 of Clinton, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, April 26, 2025.

Paulette was born on June 16, 1948 to the late Hubert Grubb and Ovella Raines Grubb. A true Homemaker, she had exceptional talent in the kitchen and was known as an amazing cook. She took great pride in homemaking while paying attention to every detail, leaving her home immaculate.  She was a devoted follower of Jesus and a member of Dante Baptist Church in Powell. Paulette had a love for animals, especially horses.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Steve Bumgardner.

Survivors include her daughter, Jackie Cornett; brother, Scott Grubb; granddaughters, Sydney and Lyndsey Cornett; her family in Speedwell and her former husband and friend, Jimmy Yoakum.

A very special thank you to her friends and family at The Groves of Oak Ridge. She was well cared for and was blessed to have a “home away from home.”

She will be laid to rest at 3 pm on Sunday, May 4, 2025 at Norris Memorial Gardens.
