Amanda Langley Burkhart, age 46 of Oakdale, Tennessee passed away at home on Saturday, August 16, 2025. Amanda had a strong faith in God and attended Piney Baptist Church and First Baptist Church of Oakdale for many years. While trained as an optometry assistant, Amanda’s true vocation was working with children, providing loving guidance. Amanda is preceded in death by her mother, Phyllis Langley; grandparents Randell and Martha Langley; grandmother, Nancy Moore.

She is survived by her loving son, Connor Burkhart and father, Randy Langley, along with many aunts, uncles and cousins who love her dearly.

Amanda will always be remembered as a gentle, loving person who loved to make others laugh. She had a wonderful sense of humor and an infectious laugh from childhood into adulthood. Amanda will be greatly missed but will forever remain in our hearts.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. until 6:30 p.m. Friday, August 22, 2025, at the Kyker Funeral Home of Harriman. The funeral will follow at 6:30 p.m. with Pastor Andy Moore officiating. Burial 2:00 p.m. Saturday, August 23, 2025, at Piney Baptist Church. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Kyker Funeral Home of Harriman is serving the Burkhart Family.
