Esther “Faye” Mackie, age 76, of Crab Orchard, TN, passed away at University of Tennessee Medical Center on August 18, 2025.

Mrs. Mackie was born on April 13, 1949, in Crab Orchard, TN, daughter of the late Roscoe Godsey, Sr. and Mable Irene (Dannel) Godsey.

She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and loving friend to all who knew her. Faye was a proud housekeeper for many years for Master Corp.

She is survived by her children, Douglas Edward Mackie, Sr. and Sis Mackie Crabtree; grandchildren, Christopher A. Jolley, D.J. Mackie, and Buddy Mackie; great-grandchildren, Steven Jolley, Braden Mackie, Eden Mackie, Noah Mackie and Jaelynn Mackie; great-great-grandchild, Waylon Jolley; sisters, Joyce Seals, Janice Houston and Ruth Ann Bell; and many nieces, nephews and family friends.

In addition to her parents, Faye is preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Kenneth Mackie; daughter, Donna Michelle Mackie; and brothers, Estes L. Godsey, Lonnie Godsey, Gary Godsey, Beuford Godsey and Woodroe Godsey.

Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, August 20, 2025, at 1:00 PM with burial to follow at Haley’s Grove Cemetery. Family will receive friends from 11:00 to 1:00 PM prior to the service.
